3DUX UNIVERSITY GOLD STAR PROJECT:

4-8Th grade TAG students bridgeport, ct

Ms. Diprio's  4-8th through 8th grade TAG classes collaborated on a community build, reimagining the future of their community,  Their focus was supporting the wonderful diversity Bridgeport has to offer with  culture and ethnic foods. They harness the value of the local bee population by supporting pollination and then creating a business opportunity through selling honey and honey-sweetened baked goods. Community work spaces offer startups a cost-effective and collaborative work environment. Officer Friendly surprised the students with a hand-made police car to help keep the community safe. The local hospital created an innovative roof garden to brighten up the day for hard-working doctors, nurses, techs and hospital workers.
