3DUX UNIVERSITY GOLD STAR PROJECT:

coding the future enrichment programs, N.j

In 2021, Jahaira Ortiz launched "Coding the Future," a pioneering initiative designed to immerse children in the world of STEM through engaging, hands-on activities that emphasize computer science and coding fundamentals. With over seven years of experience in teaching young minds within the public sector, Ortiz's educational journey began with a Bachelor's Degree from New Jersey City University in 2009. Driven by an insatiable desire for knowledge, she furthered her expertise by obtaining a Master's in Educational Technology in 2021. For the last four years, Ms. Ortiz has dedicated herself to teaching STEM, Coding, and Robotics to students, starting from Pre-K, blending her passion for education with the innovative approach to learning.

An electrifiying Taylor Swift - themed STEM project

Getting girls interested in STEAM is easy with a fun-filled project that truely engages them. The Taylor Swift-themed Stages, Styles, and Swift Moves teaches kids all about simple, parallel and series circuits as they design an interactive stage. The kids decided to level up their scene with microbit graphics!
