3DuxDesign teams up with youth author Isabella Spence to bring kids a space-themed Book-n-Build STEM and literacy experience for school, homeschool, libraries, enrichment programs, and creative learning at home.

Students begin by reading the story, where Bella and her sister travel through space and learn about planets, comets, and the solar system. Then young scientists and designers use the 3DuxDesign maker materials and project booklet to imagine the discovery of a new planet that could support human life.

As they design and build an extraterrestrial space station, students explore planetary science, survival needs, natural resources, habitats, space exploration, storytelling, engineering design, and creative problem solving. The product is available in flexible kit options so each child, pair of students, or classroom group can have the materials they need to build:

Options include:

1 book + 1 maker kit for one child

1 book + 2 maker kits for partners or siblings

1 book + 5  maker kit for small groups

1 book + 25 maker kits for classrooms, camps, libraries, and group programs

This is ideal for anyone looking for a space STEM activity, literacy-based STEM kit, book and build project, classroom STEM activity, homeschool space project, or hands-on solar system engineering challenge for kids.
