The 3DuxDesign “GoBox + Build-A-Bot Set” offers an exciting entry point into hands-on engineering for grades 3 and up. With ample cardboard modeling materials, simple circuit components, and supplies to create 25 motorized bots, this kit supports core 3DuxDesign building challenges while also complementing a wide range of other hands-on STEM and design activities in the classroom. Students gain firsthand experience with electricity, circuits, and foundational forces such as friction, mass, and centripetal force as they bring their designs to life.

Teachers can choose between two themed project guides.

With Eco-Bots, younger builders explore how motion changes with surface, weight, and design choices as they build a motorized model of an endangered species and design a protective preserve for its safety and survival.

With the Adaptive Bot Challenge, older students take on deeper UDL-inspired engineering work, creating bots with pipe cleaners, straws, and custom attachments to help a fictional character navigate a space safely.

With opportunities for bot races, redesigns, and open-ended investigations, the set invites students to test assumptions, iterate on prototypes, and make meaningful connections between physical science concepts and real-world engineering.

The kit includes access to easy-to-follow facilitator and student guides, a step-by-step video tutorial, and live support as needed. This scaffolded, out-of-the-box experience ensures that every student can participate fully while offering open pathways for deeper inquiry and creativity. The Build-A-Bot Set empowers young engineers to imagine, design, build, and reimagine solutions that connect STEM learning to their world.

***AAA battery can get hot These products should not go home with students if battery is included.
